Creating New Mail

This section allows you to create and send SMS messages through SUMS (Please note that there is a standard charge of 0.05p per SMS message).

Creating an SMS Message

  • Click the green ‘Create SMS’ button in the top-right hand corner.
  • Enter the Name of your SMS Campaign.
  • Click into the Report dropdown menu and begin typing the name of the Report containing your recipients (Please refer to the Reporting User Guide for more guidance on creating a Report). Note that your Report must contain the field ‘term_phone’ or ‘mobile_number’.
  • Enter the main body of your SMS in the ‘Message’ field. Note: the maximum number of characters for an SMS message is 160.
  • Use the date picker to choose the ‘Send After’ date and time.
  • Click the green ‘Submit’ button.
