With the correct permissions, you will be able to upload any new documents and create new folders to manage your organisational forms, policies and more.

You can also pull certain documents through to your webpage if needed, such as student-facing policies or forms.

Once this has been enabled, anyone with the correct permissions will be able add new versions of documents to ensure the most up to date information is provided. Just right click on the relevant document and select ‘Versions’. From here you can upload up to date documents with Publish and Expiry dates, and also view the history of the versions previously uploaded for that document.

I want to create a documents folder

  1. Select the Green ‘New root folder’ button on the right-hand side of the screen;
  2. An empty folder titled ‘New Folder’ will be added to your list; this can then be right clicked and retitled via the ‘Rename’ option.
  3. Further sub-folders can be added to this by clicking the relevant folder and selecting the ‘New Folder’ option.

I want to upload a document

  1. To upload a document, the relevant folder should be right clicked and the ‘Upload’ option selected.
  2. From here you can drag and drop files that you wish to upload into the displayed browser.

Note: Please note that the uploaded file’s name will be altered slightly upon completion, so this may be altered by right clicking and selecting the ‘Rename’ option.

  1. Select the relevant file and click ‘New Link’;
  2. Enter a name for the link, i.e. ‘Google’;
  3. Enter the URL for the link (you will simply need to enter the URL in the format i.e. google.com);
  4. When you enter the file, the link will then appear for selection in the same way as a regular document.

I want to update the version of a document

  1. You can update the version of a document by right clicking and selecting the ‘Versions’ option.
  2. Within this option, you are able to drag and drop the most recent version of the relevant document. This will then update itself and be available for staff viewing.

How can I connect a document/folder from documents to our website to automatically update versions of a Policy?

Your Web Developer will be able to link a folder that has been created within ‘Documents’ to automatically upload where you wish on your website.
