How do I assign an election to a period?

A period is assigned during election creation but can be added to established elections by modifying the relevant election.

Please note: A period can only be assigned before an election has had its results calculated.

When creating or modifying an election, a period can be assigned under the ‘Additional Options’ section. This is towards the end of the creation page, prior to submission.

All available periods will appear to select from the dropdown.

Please note: Where you are creating a dynamic election, the dynamic ‘parent’ will need assigning to a period. All subsequent ‘child’ elections that are then created will automatically be assigned to the same period. You do not need to assign all individual ‘child’ dynamic elections to a period.
