Feedback & Explanations

When creating your Exams, you have the option set a certain level of Feedback and/or Explanations to be given regarding the questions once a member has completed an Exam.

Feedback – will show whether they got an answer right or wrong. It will show the question and the answer they submitted.

Explanations – you can set an explanation for your questions when you create them, such as a hint for the question should it have been answered incorrectly.

  1. Show Exam Feedback and Show Explanations (All Answers) – this will ensure that, when a member completes an exam, they will be provided with ‘Feedback’ (whether they answered right or wrong) for all of the questions. Any ‘Explanations’ you have included for any of the questions within the exam will also be shown, including for questions that were answered correctly;
  2. Show Exam Feedback and Show Explanations (Wrong Answers) - this will ensure that, when a member completes an exam, they will be provided with ‘Feedback’ (whether they answered right or wrong) for all of the answers. Any ‘Explanations’ you have included for any of the questions they answered incorrectly within the exam will also be shown;
  3. Show Exam Feedback and Hide Explanations – ‘Feedback’ (whether they answered right or wrong) will be shown for all answers, but no ‘Explanations’ given;
  4. Hide Exam Feedback and Hide Explanations – no additional information will be provided regarding their answers upon completion.

What options will a member have once they have completed an exam?

When a member completes an exam via their dashboard, they will be given different options depending on the outcome of their exam:

  1. Passed – a ‘Return to Training’ button will be listed;
  2. Not Passed (can re-attempt) – options will be given to:
    1. ‘Return to Training’;
    2. ‘Return to Module’;
    3. ‘Retake Exam’;
  3. Not Passed (ran out of attempts) – options will be given to:
    1. ‘Return to Training’;
    2. ‘Return to Module’;
    3. A notice will also show advising the member to contact HR as they have ran out of attempts.
