Goods Received

The Goods Received function can be used to make a record of deliveries received at your SU reception and/or venues for your members, and to note when they have been collected by the relevant people. It helps you to easily facilitate and keep track of all goods received on behalf of students or other people within your organisation.

How do I record Goods Received?

  1. In the Finance module, select ‘Goods Received’;
  2. Click the ‘Create Goods Received’ button;
  3. Here you can add:
    1. Student Name*;
    2. Activity;
    3. Committee Position;
    4. Form filled date;
    5. Supplier;
    6. Date received;
    7. Number of boxes;
    8. Description;
    9. Quantity received;
    10. Discrepancies notes*;
  4. Once you have completed all of the relevant information, click 'Submit';
  5. Once submitted and the package has been collected by the relevant person, select 'Modify' to confirm the Order Number and add a GRN (Goods Received Note) to confirm on the system that the package is now with the correct person;
  6. You can also 'View' or 'Remove' an entry at any time.
