Bulk Member ID Conversion Tool

When importing data into the system on an adhoc basis, often you will require the corresponding member ID’s of the students included within the data.

You can obtain the member ID’s you require using the Identifier Conversion Tool available within the Members module.

As with the import tools available within the system, this feature will provide you with a template that can be exported for you to enter the relevant student ID’s, upload, and pull out the corresponding member ID numbers.

  1. Navigate to the Search Membership section of the Members module
  2. Select the Identifier Conversion Tool button at the top of the page

  3. Click Example to download a template for completion, this will include 2 field headings:

    1. student_id
    2. member_id

  4. Insert the relevant student ID’s and save the template as a .csv file for upload (ensure the member_id field heading remains, even though the column is currently blank)

  5. Click Choose file to upload your file and click Submit to download the member ID’s you require

Please note: If you need to request a data import from SUMS which involved member IDs, please ensure you use this tool to populate the member ID column before forwarding this to ZenDesk.
