  2. Click the green ‘Manage KPI’s’ button.

  3. Click the green ‘Create KPI’ button in the top-right hand corner.

  4. Enter the Name of the KPI, for example "Group Memberships”.

  5. Select the Department for the KPI, from those set up in the previous step.

Note: Any Departments that have been Archived will not show here.

  1. Input a Target for the KPI, for example “500”.

  2. If you would like the data for the KPI to be fed from a Report, begin typing the name of this Report and select it from the drop-down.

  3. Click the green ‘Submit’ button.

KPI’s calculated using Reports:

Upon submitting the new KPI, SUMS will utilise the selected Report, and assign this as the Current value for the KPI. You can also view the Report directly, by clicking on it in the ‘Report’ column.

For KPI’s calculated using Reports, you cannot manually change the Current value. Upon submitting, SUMS will automatically go back to the Report and change the Current value to the value calculated by the Report.

Reports utilised for KPI’s will be automatically refreshed every morning at 4am, and the Dashboard will be updated. However, if you require an update for statistics more frequently, by modifying and resubmitting a KPI, this will update the Report at that given point.

KPI’s that are manually updated:

  1. After creating a KPI and setting a Target, you can Modify it to enter the current value.

  2. Next to a KPI that was set up without a Report, click the blue ‘Modify’ button.

  3. Enter the Current Value.

  4. Click ‘Submit’.
