I want to add a Rep to the Representation module

NB: Most Reps will be added to the Representation module automatically if you do your rep elections online, via dynamic elections, and automatically calculate the results.

If you want to add an additional rep to the representation module, follow the below steps:

  • In Representation -> Reps, click ‘create Rep’
  • Fill in the information about the Student ID, the Rep role you want to assign them to, and the Start Date and End Date for their post.
  • Click Submit
  • You do not need to add in any information in the override section unless you want the student to be assigned as the rep on a different course from the one they are in on your data feed from the University.
  • If you do want to assign someone to a different course from the university data feed or assign a staff member to a rep role, check the ‘override’ tick box.
  • Add in the information about the course, school and college you want the student to be a rep for (you will need the course codes, which can be found in the members table or in your data base).
  • Click Submit, and the rep will appear on the rep list.
