Resources

This guide covers how you can upload documents and add URLs for all Reps to be able to access via the ‘Resources’ section found within the Rep Dashboard.

Rep Resource Categories

Begin by creating your resource categories to organise your documents:

  1. Select ‘Resources’ within the ‘Representation’ module
  2. Click ‘Create Rep Resource Categories’ at the top of the table and enter a name
  3. Mark if you want the category to be ‘Active’ (visible) on the Rep Dashboard

You can add, remove and modify categories at any time. Making a category inactive will hide the category name and any documents/URLs that are listed under that category from the Rep Dashboard. These will reappear again if the category is marked as ‘Active’ later down the line.

Please note: If you delete a category, this will also remove any resources that are held within the category. These documents/URL's will then need to be added again in order to be shown on the Rep Dashboard.

Uploading Resources

You can upload documents/URLs by selecting the green ‘Resources’ button alongside the relevant category.

  1. Select ‘Create Rep Resource’ and enter:
    1. Document Title
    2. Mark if you want the resource to be visible
    3. Resource Type (check names w/ SJ) - select if you would like to add a file or website (URL) resource type
      1. File upload - upload a document by browsing your files, or dragging and dropping the file (a list of accepted file types and the max file size are listed for reference)
      2. Website - enter the URL that you would like to add
    4. Click ‘Submit’ to save and upload the resource.

You can add, remove and modify resources at any time.

Making a document/URL inactive will hide it from the Rep Dashboard. This will reappear again if the resource is marked as ‘Visible’ later down the line.

You will be able to keep track of your visible resources and when they were last updated on the ‘Resources’ page for each of your categories, where you will be able to view the:

  1. System ID
  2. Title of the resource
  3. Creation date and time
  4. Date and time the resource was last modified
  5. Whether the resource is currently active (marked as 'Visible')
