Elections

Members can easily vote in your SU Elections directly via the app.

They simply need to select ‘Elections’ from the main app page to view a list of all Elections that are live and available for voting.

When they select the relevant Election, they will be able to select their preferred candidate and click ‘Submit Vote’ to place their vote.

They can easily reset their vote before submission by clicking ‘Clear Vote’, if they selected the wrong candidate.

If you have allowed spoilt votes when setting up your Elections, your members will be able to click ‘Spoil Vote’ on the voting page.

How can members select their self-definitions via the SU App?

  1. Click ‘Elections; from the main app page;
  2. Click this button on the top right of the screen (your chosen SU colour will show);
  3. Select from the list and click ‘Submit’;
  4. The relevant Elections will then show for voting on the Elections page.

Note: Member self-definitions must be submitted each time a student goes to vote. Self-definitions are not saved in the database due to GDPR implications.
