Dashboard and Views
The Overview tab of the Room Bookings module provides you with quick actions for you to create bookings and access other areas within the module, such as your bookings calendar and timeline.
You will also have access to a list of upcoming bookings, along with any outstanding requests where students have submitted bookings via the Student Dashboard.
Calendar View
Your Room Bookings calendar provides a monthly view for all of your upcoming bookings, and will display bookings as per their types, if you have colour-coded booking types enabled.
You can search for specific bookings via the calendar by filtering either by specific rooms or booking type, and you can click a booking to view and modify its details, for example if you need to change the description (name) or number of attendees.
You can also create a new booking by either selecting the '+ Create Booking' option at the top of the calendar, or by clicking into the date that you wish to create a booking for.
Timeline View
From the main dashboard you will also be able to access a timeline view, where you can view your bookings in a daily, weekly or monthly view.
All of your rooms will be listed on the lefthand side, with their bookings displayed at the relevant times within your timeline in the view you have selected.
A range of filters are available for you to view relevant bookings. You can filter by room, booking type, status and even activities/student groups if you need to view bookings made by a specific group.
You also have a filter available to show any unavailability periods that have been created against a room (see here for further guidance on unavailability periods), along with an option to hide any rooms that do not have any bookings during the time period you are viewing.
List View
If you would rather view your bookings in a simple list view, you can select the List tab to view all bookings, past, current and future.
Use the filters available to find bookings of certain types, for specific rooms or made by a specific user.
You can view and modify the details of a booking, and you can also delete a booking if needed. All deleted bookings will appear within the 'Deleted Bookings' section, found at the top of the list view. You can view the details of a deleted booking, but once a booking has been removed you will be unable to recover the booking.
The List tab is also where you can review and approve any bookings that have been made by students via the Student Dashboard. See here for further guidance on how to review and approve student bookings.

Within the Configuration tab you will be able to create and modify details relating to your bookings, including:
- Rooms
- Booking Types
- Features
- Room Blocking
